History
Chudleigh Knighton Pre-school was established in 1972. Starting initially as a place for parents to meet other parents and for their children to play with other children, it then formed into a Playgroup.
Changes in care and education over the years have meant the Playgroup has evolved and is now the Pre-School, run by qualified staff and inspected by Ofsted.
Chudleigh Knighton Pre-School is a happy, professionally run, Pre-School providing structured play, social contact and an educational environment for children from the age of 2 to school age.
Since 1972 our home has been in the Village Hall at the heart of Chudleigh Knighton.
The Pre-School uses a large hall, a quiet room, a well fitted kitchen and a enclosed garden which we use as much as possible. Children are encouraged to bring their wellies through the winter months.
The Pre-school employs 6 members of staff and an administrator.
All employees have been cleared by the “Criminal Records Bureau” and Ofsted to work with children.
All staff work as a supportive team and bring professionalism and personal strengths to the group along with first hand experience in motherhood.
They will introduce themselves and explain their qualifications on our “Meet the staff page”
