Motorcycle Shock Protector
Being a motorcyclist for many years it has always amazed me why we don’t seem to care about our rear shocks.
I have come across many bikes that have damaged, pitted, chipped or leaking rear shocks, but the rest of the bike is immaculate!
The exposed rear shock absorber and spring, is an important structural part of any motorcycle, not only does it provide stability, and comfort, it also controls the way the motorcycle handles.
The rear shock absorbers, and springs, are particularly susceptible to constant damage from the elements while riding the motorcycle in wet or dusty conditions.
The effects from road salt, water spray, and stone chipping alone, account for the most shock damage, and over time, can result in the premature failure of the shock absorber, or at worst an accident.
